A Top 5 Overall will be selected in all Market Lamb Shows that are sanctioned
on the MJLA Circuit.
Points will be awarded as follows:
Grand: 5 Points
Reserve: 4 Points
3rd Overall: 3 Points
4th Overall: 2 Points
5th Overall: 1 Point

The MJLA Market Lambs will be shown by breeds.
Breed Champions will be awarded points on the following scale:
Breed Champions: 4 Points
Reserve Breed Champions: 3 Points

Market Lamb Class Points will be awarded as follows:
1st Place: 10 Points
2nd Place: 9 Points
3rd Place: 8 Points
4th Place: 7 Points
5th Place: 6 Points
6th Place: 5 Points
7th Place: 4 Points
8th Place: 3 Points
9th Place: 2 Points
10th Place & Down: 1 Point

The MJLA will have a Commercial Ewe Division
Points will be awarded as follows:
Champion Commerical Ewe: 5 Points
Reserve Commercial Ewe: 3 Points
Third Overall Commercial Ewe: 1 Point

Commercial Ewe Class Points will be awarded as follows:
1st Place: 10 Points
2nd Place: 9 Points
3rd Place: 8 Points
4th Place: 7 Points
5th Place: 6 Points
6th Place: 5 Points
7th Place: 4 Points
8th Place: 3 Points
9th Place: 2 Points
10th Place & Down: 1 Point

Members exhibiting market lambs will be allowed to exhibit as many animals as they wish. Only the top point earning animal from each breed will count toward breed points and the top 2 point earning individuals will count towards your point totals overall

Members exhibiting commercial ewes will be allowed to show as many individuals as they wish but only the top individual will be counted towards their point total.

Also 1 bonus point will be awarded towards your market lamb overall total and your commercial ewe total points for participating in showmanship at each show (must have at least 1 individual in market lamb and ewe lamb to receive points)
